THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The case agaist AK Saseendran case took an intriguing turn on Saturday as it came to light that the person who filed the petition in court against transport minister in connection with the sleaze talk case was none other than the helper of the personal assistant of former minister Thomas Chandy.
Mahalakshmi, who filed the petition, was a helper at the house of Sreekumar, who was a personal assistant of Thomas Chandy. However, it is not clear whether Thomas Chandy had any connection with the controversy.
Saseendran has been crying foul from the moment the case was filed and alleged that there was a conspiracy behind the filing of petitions to delay the case even after he was acquitted by the court.
Media reports revealed that Thycaud native Mahalakshmi, who approached the court asking to re-consider the case against Saseendran, was the helper of Thomas Chandy’s PA.
When contacted, Mahalakshmi refused to reply to the questions in this regard.
