JODHPUR: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently in Jodhpur to shoot for “Thugs of Hindostan”, reportedly fell ill on the sets of the movie. He wrote in his blog that he is getting his team of doctors to visit and “set” him up again.
The blog, posted around 5 am, sparked concerns over the health of the 75-year-old.
According to sources, Bachchan fell ill on the sets of the movie. A team of three doctors, which rushed from Mumbai to tend to him, said he was medically fit.
“I am getting my team of Doctors in tomorrow morning to fiddle around with my body and set me up again… I will rest and keep informed in the process,” Bachchan said.
He also wrote about the gruelling shoot schedule of the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed film, which also features Aamir Khan.
“The morning after the night that began yesterday for work some people need to work for a living and work hard.
“It’s been rough.. but whenever did any be achieved without it…there is struggle and disappointment and pain and sweat and tears… then the expectation of all working out .. sometimes it does, most of the times not… it is the right impetus to say and deliver that it has been successful and achieved,” he said.
Big ‘B’, who was feeling pain in his shoulder after a gruelling shoot schedule for the film, has been advised to take liquid diet for some time for maintaining his body’s energy level.
The doctors, who examined the actor at Ajit Bhavan Palace Hotel where he is staying, will return to Mumbai on Tuesday evening.
